This is me. I drew this self portrait in college about 14ish years ago. I would say it accurately depicts me still, except I shape my eyebrows a bit more now.

Illustration Friday - Cultivate Friendship

This is my first entry to Illustration Friday.

Two opportunities to illustrate children's books have come my way recently. Both stories would be better suited to a style that is not cartoony, so I've experimented with watercolour and illustrating in a more realistic style. Here you have Best Friends. I really enjoyed painting their eyes!  

Final Pastel Pig V

This is my final drawing in my Pastel Pig series. I've given them names, Peter the Rooster and Cornelius the Pig. Looks like a fine new day is dawning for these two best buddies. 

What is Love?

Love is patient and kind

not jealous, not boastful

not proud, not easily angered

Love does not gloat over other peoples wrongs 

but takes delight in the truth. 

Love always bears up, 

always trusts

always hopes

always endures.
